Guide and Travelling Companions
The first trip to South Africa for my wife Linda and myself was in 2007 with Riviera Travel - a fine introduction to seeing such a vast country, the trip was incredibly enjoyable and made us want more - but with more freedom.
Co-incidentally; on that same trip was Colin and Maureen, residing in Brighton, it seemed natural that we would both move away from the collective of the coach passengers whenever possible.
Guide on that trip was Bruce Munro - at that time he was covering standard coach tours of South Africa for large organisations while also running his own company "INGONGO Tours" as an Internationally qualified and licensed guide. (INGONGO being Black Eagle in Zulu)

Since the 2007 trip we have met up for travel in 2009, 2010 and 2012, 2011 Colin and Maureen could not make the trip - this allowed us to utilise a smaller vehicle. 2012 included return to the South African Kalahari with cross border travel through Botswana and 6 days in Namibia
Bruce now lives near Durban, South Africa with his wife Amanda and maintains INGONGO TOURS as an Independent Travel Guide (e-mail <ingongo@netactive.co.za> )
